We love haggis – we have it every Burns Night with a tot. The Oxtail also looked like something we’d like. Never thought of doing a food tour. You’ve got us interested. For us it’s a must to sample authentic cuisine.

You have to be adventurous. I’m with her on the haggis, it’s lovely. Though I haven’t tried with whiskey. Tour sounds really fun.

I’m certainly bought in on the haggis and whisky. Had no idea that the Scots are good at cheese, but seems that way.

And not a bridie or deep-fried mars bar in sight! You can get modified haggis these days to suit our squeamish modern tastes – it’s a bit like herby black pudding. I suspect it’s what most hotels serve. I quite like it. Well done you for trying the real thing!
